Nose: Familiar Skye coastal breeze and white pepper leap from the glass but there is much more going on here. Sultana sweetness develops into rich plum, and orange oil. There is a creamy waxiness and hints of peat.
Palate: Sweet sea salt, chilli pepper and milk chocolate. Dried fruit, mixed peels too, thick in texture. Wood smoke slowly and surprisingly takes over.
Finish: Cocoa, spiced raisins and drying oak.
Overall: A rugged Talisker with increased sweetness and a subtle Port influence that lends it complexity.
