I bought the £149 calendar and on the spoiler alter it tells you which whiskys are in the calendar.
My dad has opened 7 days so far and he does love his whisky and it has transformed him into a child. Very good whiskys and some times, money isnt everything!

Can someone please tell me what is in this pack? I'm really interested in buying it for my husband but would want to know if it is going to contain whiskies he's not tried before, and good ones at that.
What an extraordinary offer. So little for so much.
you are invited to gamble so much with the sure knowledge that you will, at best, break even.

Bought the 2012 advent calendar for my husband and it was a revelation. Great opportunity to try some unusual whiskies that we would not normally try, such as some of the Japanese brands. Yes it's more expensive by the dram but we wouldn't have bought the 24 different bottles.
Will definitely buy again this year - and get the gin version for my best mate.

Nobody has reviewed the calendar having sampled it....

well to some people like my dad who enjoys any different malt whiskey and is not a connoisseur, then it is a perfect present.

I suppose it might be worth it. Some malts are pricy. But they really ought to tell you more up front about what you're going to get.

And if you're very rich and very stupid, why not fork out £250?
They don't even tell you what you get for your money. Go on. Splash out without knowing what you're going to get. You can afford it.
I can't wait until December!
