Nose: Gingernut biscuits and allspice. Hints of sea spray, essential orange oils and marmalade. A little dried apricot and malt.
Palate: Salty, faintly smoked palate with a good sherried, malty core. Hints of Corinth raisins, stem ginger and toasty oak.
Finish: Very oaky, spicy finish with hints of sherry. Lovely toffee notes.
Overall: A full-bodied Highland whisky. Classic stuff.
