Lowland Whisky

The Lowlands is home to some of the gentlest, lightest whiskies in all of Scotland. In fact, Lowland whisky is often known as "the Lowland ladies" and this is thanks to the production methods, which include triple-distillation, as opposed to the usual double-distillation. Whiskies in the Lowlands also tend to be totally unpeated.
