Highland Single Malt Whisky

A vast region, Highland single malt whisky appears in many different styles: at the Northern Highlands, distilleries such as The Dalmore produce rich, malty, big-bodied whisky; to the South, distilleries like Aberfeldy distil fruity, dry whiskies; in the Eastern Highlands, Glen Garioch and its neighbours producer tangy, fruity, rich whiskies; and the Western Highlands provide some full-bodied, peaty, smoky whiskies with maritime influence.
