Aperol Bottling Note

Aperol is one of Italy's best-loved aperitifs, and it dates back to 1919. In some ways similar to Campari, Aperol is a slightly sweeter alternative flavoured with orange and rhubarb.

Tasting Note by The Whisky Club

Nose: A little tangerine and pepper. Valencia oranges, sandalwood.

Palate: Creamy palate with big orange notes and a slightly gripping herbal/bitter flavour which develops. Rhubarb is subtle but present.

Finish: Long finish which becomes very bitter and ever so slightly medicine-like.

Overall: A delicious tipple, highly recommend as an "Aperol Spritz" with Prosecco and a little soda water…
