Scotch Blended Whisky

Accounting for 90% of whisky sales in Scotland, Scotch blended whisky is by far the best-selling spirit produced in the country. It is ubiquitous, and not without good reason, for the top blends are produced by master blenders who skilfully combine flavoursome, rich malt whiskies with the more cheaply made grain whiskies, resulting in the best of both worlds. Just like any other Scotch whisky, blended whisky must be aged for at least three years in oak and must be bottled at no less than 40%abv.
